Refugee Tenancy Service

The refugee tenancy service provides free legal assistance to people who are having problems with renting and are of a refugee background.

Problems that we may be able to help with include:

  • repairs
  • bonds
  • privacy
  • rent
  • notices to vacate (eviction)
  • VCAT disputes
  • rooming houses
  • public housing

We do not provide assistance with housing applications, securing accommodation or provide emergency funds.
